Skining up in the murk Starting to look like it might clear The cliffs of Lochnagar starting to emerge Views coming and going Wow! Heading toward the summit approach Lochnagar cliffs A bit rocky on the plateau Some large cornices to be reckoned with Heading towards the summit on foot - too many rocky sections to skin Looking back towards Meikle Pap Clouds On the summit of Cac Carn Mor Summit views Other walkers approaching Checking out some of the climbs Heading down from Cruidhe Crom Perfect snow, firm and grippy but not too icy Mike descending from Cruidhe Crom Fiona Fiona Trying to get as far as possible before the skins go back on Still moving... Skis get you a lot further Hare in the distance After a short skin uphill it's all downhill On skis it's still possible to link snow patches back to the far end on the forest This was pushing it though, the path was a lot faster The path back to the car
