First ferrata of the holiday. Going straight up to 3000m+ on day one is always going to be hard work

The Langkofel The view from the top of the Gondola Big boulders and hills on the walk in Heading into the valley, very very bleak and hard work with the combination of heat and altitude Looking back down the valley to the Langkofel The peak opposite Sass Rigais, some folks were climbing this Views from the col, very hazy with the heat Mike on the Ferrata Tottering rocks A few sections were a bit more strenuous than we'd intended for our first route of the holiday Torre Fermeda Close to the top Summit views with Marmolada in the distance Descending from the summit. Sections of this were actually harder than the ascent route and with spinning heads the heat/altitude lots of concentration was required Heading down, follow the red paint and cable... Looking back up what we've just descended. A coupe of people are just visible left of centre Looking towards Refugio Firenze and the Stevia Gruppe. The climb Torre Firenze is in here somewhere Some possible climbs for later in the trip Looking back towards where we've been. The Fermada on the left.
