Garbh Bheinn - May 2008
Multipitch climb right up to the summit of a great hill.

Initial walk in. Meant to be boggy but lack of rain made it very pleasant. Once up into the coire the climb awaits. Its the ridge to the left of the obvious deep cleft in the rock. First pitch, protectionless slabs. Forgot to photograph pitch 2 but heres Fion off on her way on pitch 3. Think this is still pitch 3 Onto the Probably pitch 4 or 5 Think this is close to the top. I climbed/walked until the rope ran out and setup a suitable bealay. No real need to pitch it here. More unprotected slabs but very grippy rock and shallow gradient. Reaching the summit. Out first multipitch route in Scotland. Summit panorama Garbh Bheinn south face Garbh Bheinn from the south again Garbh Bheinn showing the ridge climbed A view to one of the other hills nearby. Not sure of its name.
