Sunshine, mist, great views and some rain. Typical scottish weather!

Southern ridge of Coire Ban More with the Alt Tarsuinn in the foreground. Looking back across Coire Ban More from southern slopes of Beinn Heasgarnich Crossing one of the many snow fields. Avalanche debris Fiona climbing snowfield. Fiona climbing snowfield, actually its easily avoidable. No crampons required though, wet snow all round. Departing summit of Beinn Heasgarnich Ptarmigan Creag Mhor from Stob an Fhir Bhogha. We used the right hand (north) ridge to access the summit. A big enough snowfield here you could have got your skis out. On top of Creag Mhor, only another 142 to go! Looking south from Sron nan Eun. (Ben Vorlich?) Panorama of Creag Mhor and Beinn Heasgarnich. Loch Lyon just visible in the centre Looking over to Meall Glas etc East ridge of Ben Challum on the right. Rainbow over the glen. This patch of sunlight seemed to hang around for hours. Ben Challum comes out of ther mist. Spectacular light shows back up the glen.
